I AM Therapy – Integrative Aquatic Movement

Receive an aquatic “massage” in the healing waters of the hot springs.

I AM Therapy

Integrative Aquatic Movement is a holistic therapy that takes place in the healing waters of a natural hot springs. It encourages sensory integration through touch, communication, stillness and movement. Utilizing deep listening and the natural elements of water, the client is invited into an intuitive, reflective state of awareness, supporting a greater potential for movement, ease and synchronicity. The therapy creates an environment through which curiosity and gentle internal inquiry is nourished within a safe, fluid environment.

How does it work?

Using natural hot springs to heal has been used by indigenous people for centuries. The warm hot springs mineral water relaxes and soothes the body, mind and spirit. The process facilitates healing because you are suspended while floating on your back, fully supported and gently rocked and stretched. Your body gets to drift deeper into silent relaxation. No need to talk, just pure nourishment from the amazing healing hot springs.

A typical session is 45 minutes. The perfect amount of time to slowdown and relax deeply while floating on water noodles and healing hands.

Who would most benefit from this treatment?

Aqua sessions in the hot springs are very helpful for someone who has nerve interference; joint or spinal issues; post surgery or injury recovery; muscle, joint, or soft tissue pain especially involving trigger points, knots and adhesions. The treatment is also helpful for fibromyalgia, MS, emotional imbalances, PTSD, high stress life, chronic sitting and slouching over a computer, chronic bending, heavy lifting and standing on your feet all day.
