After a divorce Dean moved to Maui to teach his Triple Gem Class – a blend of yoga, qi gong and meditation. Every night at sunset he offered his free class to all.  It became very popular and Amanda, now his wife heard about the sunset class and decided to come over.  It was in Maui were he reconnected with Amanda Beasley, who came to visit and learn some qigong.

After a few months in Maui together teaching the couple moved to Crestone Colorado where they founded The Crestone Healing Center.  Then Amanda and Dean started Chimney Rock Healing Center in Pagosa Springs in 2014 which morphed into Hotsprings Healers.  It was their love for water therapy that birthed their new clinic together Hotspringshealers.  Together they developed Integrative Aquatic Movement – IAM.  Their love for water and healing created their favorite healing work.  Come experience an amazing IAM session in the Hotsprings.

Dean’s interests in martial arts, yoga and healing began as a young child when his mother taught him yoga and meditation. His father, a chemical engineer, inventor, adventurer, botanist and food pioneer taught him about wild harvesting of foods and herbs for cooking and healing. Both parents were gourmet chefs and encouraged their six children to cook and use food for healing.

His current healing focus is centered on Qi Gong.

As a young man, he met a Martial arts teacher, Dr Morrow a chiropractor and 5th degree Aikido practitioner, who invited him into his home to study and learn the healing arts involved in martial arts. Dr Dean is an avid student of healing techniques developing several techniques himself including — Aqua Qigong, a water exercise / martial art — and IAM Therapy, integrative aquatic movement a healing therapy in the water.
